Spiraling specificity is delineated in the grade-specific standards for each of the three broad strands (Opinion/Argument, Informational/Explanatory, and Narrative). We will explore how units of study may be organized, how the expectations spiral through the grades, and how we need to communicate these expectations across the school to be effective.
